Scottish hunt master found not guilty of breaking ban on hunting with hounds
Posted by Matthew Humphreys on 12/10/2004, 2:42pm
One in the eye for the Bambi-huggers!

The first fox hunter in Scotland to be prosecuted for breaking the ban on hunting with hounds has been cleared today. Although hounds were used to flush the fox out from underground, the fox was then shot dead instead of being killed by the hounds. What impact this will have on the similar ban recently enacted  in England and Wales remains to be seen.
